I didn't ask for a vision

Fellow Pilgrims,

There’s no sharing such things without raising questions. From materialists, about sanity. From cessationists, condemnation of the very idea God might so act, especially in one so untrustworthy. From academia, about street cred (library cred?). From those who’ve been hurt by false claims, regarding discernment.

I rush to assure you that I did not ask for this one.

But what can I say?

All those questions can be legitimate. (Except maybe the ones from the cessationists), but I’m not going to address them here. The visions felt no different from prayer, no more improbable than praying.
